Kale, Apple, and Sweet Potato Puree

The kale, apple, and sweet potato puree for the Yummi Pouch


– 1 bunch of kale

-10 apples (approx.)

-3 white sweet potatoes


Rinse the kale thoroughly  under cold water. Take the leaves off the stems and place in steamer. Steam kale until soft and dark green (approx. 20 minutes). Remove kale from pan and set aside.

Rinse, peel, core, and cut apples. Place clean apples into large pot of boiling water. Boil until soft and then remove from burner and place apples in cold water to prevent from cooking further. Set aside.

Place 3 white sweet potatoes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees. Bake for approximately 1.5 hours until a fork can easily go through the skin. Remove and let cool.

Place all three ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Add water if mixture is too thick. Pour into Yummi Pouch.
