Spinach/Kale and Pear Puree

Spinach/kale and pear puree for the Yummi Pouch

Ingredients:

– 1 package baby spinach or 1 bunch of kale

– 10 pears (approx.)

Directions:

Clean spinach or kale and steam until soft and tender (approx. 5 min for spinach and approx. 20 min for kale). Set aside.

Peel, core, and cut pears and place in large pot of boiling water. Boil pears until tender. Remove from burner and place pears in pot of cold water to keep from continuing to cook.

Combine spinach/kale and pears in blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into Yummi Pouches!

You can also use apple instead of pears if pears aren’t in season. šŸ™‚
